The OFW Insurance is the ultimate protection for migrant workers inclusive of coverage in case of death whether due toa natural or accident, repatriation due to death or termination of employment without any valid cause, disability, medical repatriation, medical emergency and litigation. Subsistence allowance and compassionate visit of a family member in case of hospitalization confinement for at least seven (7) consecutive days are also provided.

Designed in line with the requirements of the Department of Labor's Expanded Compulsory Insurance coverage for Rehires and Direct Hires to ensure the welfare of all OFWs. The mandate originally covered Agency-Hired OFWs only. The global health crisis has called for better protection of all Filipino migrant workers.

Product features / Coverage Inclusions
  • Natural death, with at least $10,000 survivor’s benefit.
  • Accidental death, with at least $15,000 survivor’s benefit.
  • Permanent total disablement & dismemberment, $7,500 disability benefit.
  • Repatriation Benefit - transport of OFW back to the Philippines dead or alive including personal belongings.
  • Subsistence allowance benefit, USD 100.00 per month for a maximum of 6 months is awarded to the OFW if OFW is involved in a case or litigation in the receiving country.
  • Money claims, equivalent to at least 3 months for every year of the OFW employment contract is awarded to the migrant worker upon favorable settlement by the NLRC of illegal termination of the migrant worker.
  • Compassionate visit, the OFW is entitled to request any one individual to visit him provided he is hospitalized for at least 7 consecutive days.
  • Medical evacuation when an adequate medical facility is not available proximate to the OFW, he may be transferred to another hospital where he can be treated well.
  • Medical repatriation to the migrant worker’s residence when medically necessary and cleared as deemed by an attending physician.

  • OFWs with a valid working visa/permit.
  • Aged 18 to 60* years old.
  • Must be in good health.
