OFW Protect Plus is a comprehensive voluntary insurance plan
conforming with Republic Act (RA) 10022 enhanced by the
Bereavement Assistance Benefit.* It is designed to deal with
problems which you may encounter abroad and the welfare
of your family in the event of sickness, total and permanent
disability or untimely death.
Product features / Coverage Inclusions
- Natural death, with at least $10,000 survivor’s benefit.
- Accidental death, with at least $15,000 survivor’s benefit.
- Permanent total disablement & dismemberment, with at least $7,500 disability benefit.
- Repatriation Benefit - cost of the worker when his/her employment is terminated without any valid cause, as well as in the case of death.
- Subsistence allowance benefit, with at least $100 per month for a maximum of 6 months for a migrant worker involved in a case or litigation for the protection of his/her life in the receiving country.
- Money claims arising from the employer’s liability.
- Compassionate visit from 1 family member or requested individual when a migrant worker is hospitalized and has been confined for at least 7 consecutive days.
- Bereavement Assistance Benefit * – Assistance is given, only once, in the form of a roundtrip ticket or its peso equivalent when one of the designated beneficiaries of the insured dies.
Eligibility
- For clients aged 18 to 60 years old.
- Must be in good health.
- Valid employment contract and with a valid working visa/permit.
